Overview

WEAP is looking a Licensed Therapist to join our team in Wisconsin!  We are seeking an experienced and enthusiast mental health therapist to join our team with strong interest in advancing clinical assessment and therapeutic skills, the desire to work in a multidisciplinary and family-focused service model, and exceptional report writing and documentation skills. Opportunity to perform telehealth mental health assessments and therapy services, in addition to in-clinic, is offered. Full-time administrative staff support is provided for credentialing, billing, insurance claims, IT, and other tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct objective and comprehensive mental health assessments.
  • Provide direct therapy and case management services to children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans with specific measurable goals.
  • Effectively implement evidence-based interventions for a range of presenting concerns.
  • Develop parent training/family goals and maintain ongoing parent involvement.
  • Perform autism diagnostic testing and assist clinical psychologist with psychological services, as appropriate.
  • Offer coordination of care with other professionals to enhance the quality of services.
  • Conduct local outreach and/or marketing to build caseload and community awareness.
  • Understand and follow clinical policies and procedures.
  • Complete thorough clinical documentation within established timelines.
  • Communicate professionally with fellow staff, clients, and community members.
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented atmosphere among staff and clients.
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with supervisor.
  • Promote improvements to the company operations and quality of clinical services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
  • Independent clinical license within assigned region/state (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
  • General availability in the afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends and flexibility to grow a caseload

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with autism spectrum disorder and related neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Training and/or experience in performing diagnostic interviews and psychological testing
  • Existing in-network/credentialed status with major insurance carriers
